RED, WHITE & BLUE GOLF: With Hawaii among top golfing destinations, Norwegian Cruise Line launches shore side golf, with the first golf pro shop at sea, for Pride of Aloha, (formerly Norwegian Sky), reflagging to U.S. registry for seven-day inter-island cruises. Starting July 4, on the 2,000-passenger ship’s inaugural, NCL's Golf Hawaii program features courses on four islands, including Koolau on Oahu; Poipu Bay and The Prince Course on Kauai; Mauna Lani Resort and Hapuna Golf Course on the Big Island, and Kapalua and Wailea on Maui. All 18-hole courses have layouts from 5,873 to 7,263 yards. Pride of Aloha’s Pro Shop, guaranteeing tee-times, rents Callaway clubs and Adidas shoes, and sells NCL Golf Hawaii logo items. Onboard clinics feature local pros and three practice nets. Fees start from $95 per person, transport included.
