CCL Freedom from Rome to Miami ...

Transatlantic Value Fun: For affordable vacationing aboard a spanking new “floating resort,” Carnival Freedom's 14-day transatlantic sails in fall 2007, from $799 per person. Freedom departs Rome on Oct. 28, arriving in Miami Nov. 11. A Civitavecchia overnight allows for exploring Rome, followed by calls at Livorno, Malaga, and Funchal (Madeira). “Carnival Freedom epitomizes ‘Today’s Carnival’,” said Carnival’s Bob Dickinson, president and CEO. Carnival Freedom debuts with 12-day Mediterranean cruises from Civitavecchia including the line’s first-ever visits to the Greek Isles and Turkey, March 14 to Oct. 16, 2007. Freedom has bi-level main dining rooms, poolside eatery with 24-hour pizzeria, reservations-only supper club, plus 22 lounges/bars. Also featured: Fitness center, Internet café, ship-wide Wi-Fi, jogging track, “Camp Carnival” and “Club 02” programs for kids. All 1,487 staterooms include the “Carnival Comfort Bed” system.
